MIACP (Accred) MBACP (Accred) Counsellor & Psychotherapist
Welcome - this is a space where you can learn a little about my approach to therapy and explore whether working together feels like the right fit for you. You are very welcome to get in touch by phone, email or text; I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
Therapy is not about 'fixing' - it's about deepening your awareness and opening the door to new perspectives. It can be emotional at times, especially as you begin to explore deeper layers of your experience but it also offers a rich and supportive space to understand yourself more fully, feel more at ease within, and find new ways forward whether you are navigating a specific issue or seeking personal growth.
My approach is rooted in empathy, curiosity and respect. We will explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe, confidential environment with no pressure or assumptions, simply a supportive place where you can slow down, reflect, and begin to understand yourself in a new way. There is no single path to healing or self-understanding, so I draw from a variety of therapeutic traditions to offer a flexible, responsive way of working, always guided by your needs and at your pace. Our work together is a collaborative process, built on respect, trust, and the belief that meaningful change is possible.
With over 20 years of experience in psychotherapy, I bring a depth of understanding, care, and clinical expertise to my work with clients.
Counselling and psychotherapy can be so helpful for a wide range of issues (for eg. anxiety, trauma, low self confidence, low self esteem, anger, bereavement, communication & relationship, employment & redundancy issues) and the process involved is short or long term depending on what you feel you need.
I'm an accredited member of both the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), professional bodies that uphold the highest standards of ethical practice and ongoing professional development. My accreditation reflects not only my training and qualifications, but also my long-standing commitment to safe, effective, and client-centered therapy.
